It's been a few years since I have gone but when I went previously the food was really good and the coffee even finer. The atmosphere is unique and fun. Would go again!

I've been to the other location of Shakespeare & Co and enjoyed my visit. My family surprised me with a trip to the downtown location for my birthday. There's something very fun about the atmosphere, however the food left me slightly underwhelmed. The pricing was a bit high for what came out, my burger came out with one wilted piece of lettuce in place of a bun, and while the flavor of the patty was good, the patty sat in a puddle of grease and liquid on my plate. The wrap was very heavy on spice, which was great for the first few bites but became too one note very fast. The short ribs were very good, and the pasta was very well plated. Overall just a bit underwhelming for the price point.

We made a weekend trip to Lexington and went Ice Skating in Triangle Park. Shakespeare and Co. was a great breakfast option for us. There is not much British about it, but my daughter adored the fancy décor, cushy chairs and wanted a picture in front of every adorned wall. Pancakes and crepes were the hits of the meal. Central location and plenty of seating.
