Great place to order sushi. It was my dad's birthday and due to COVID-19 I'm very wary of going anywhere. Luckily this place is on Uber Eats and you can schedule ahead. That's how on a Tuesday night I was able to place an order to arrive between 11:45 a.m. and 12:15 p.m. on a Thursday (and it got here at 12:13 p.m.)! Honestly, I was very impressed with Uber Eats, but I'm going to focus this review on the restaurant. Just as an FYI, there are other restaurants that raise their prices by $1-$2 per dish to recoup the costs of partnering with a delivery service. Shogun Japanese Restaurant only raised it by $.50 to $1. I don't know how they can afford to do this, so if possible I would suggest picking up so most of your money goes to them. I didn't get the full experience since it took some time for the food to be delivered after it was made (of course, not the fault of the restaurant), so some of our rolls were a bit soggy, but everything was still delicious. I've listed what we got below. Spider Roll - Delicious! I love the amount of sauce and the crab was fried well. Sweet Heart Roll - Spicy crunchy tuna, wrapped with fresh tuna, chili sauce and soybean paper. It was good, but I honestly liked the spicy salmon roll better. I think next time I need to remember to only get one spicy x roll even if the x is tuna or salmon. Color Dragon Roll - Shrimp tempura, cucumber topped with tuna, avocado, masago, scallion, eel sauce. This was my favorite. It was the right amount of crunch and eel sauce to make it satisfying without overwhelming. Rainbow Roll - I get this from every restaurant and I thought this one was good. Spicy Salmon Roll - I loved it. I'm going to get the spicy salmon roll every time. They even add a bit of crunch in it, which pushed it over the top. Shrimp Shumai - This reminded me of the frozen package I get from the Asian grocery store. I probably wouldn't get it again, but it works in a pinch. Hibachi Chicken and Steak - My husband liked it and it was pretty cheap for all the food ($22 on Uber Eats). The packaging/presentation was beautiful. I'm used to Styrofoam boxes so this surprised me. I wished we lived closer so I could go and pick up myself. I would definitely recommend trying this restaurant!
