SibirSibir, located in Moscow, offers traditional Siberian cuisine with a modern twist. The establishment boasts a cozy and vibrant ambiance with an eclectic interior design that includes carved wooden beams, Soviet mosaics, and birch logs. The prices are reasonable compared to the quality of the food, and the location is convenient for those staying at the Azimut Hotel. Special features include a beautiful open terrace with a view of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs building.

Some standout dishes on the menu include the Pelmeni, little dumplings with three types of caviar cooked in champagne, and the Stroganina, shavings of frozen fish that curl up when cut. For drinks, try the crisp and clear Mamont vodka from the Siberian Altai Mountains or the Radeberg Pilsner from near Dresden. There is also a separate wine list, although the prices may be steep.

Overall, SibirSibir is a fine dining spot that offers a unique culinary experience with attentive and helpful staff. It's perfect for foodies looking to explore new flavors and dishes.

During the New Year holidays, my husband and I went to this restaurant. Initially, when choosing Siberia Siberia as a place for dinner, we were based on restaurant ratings and reviews, which, of course, are extremely positive. So, the first thing I would like to highlight is service. It leaves much to be desired. At the very beginning, I asked the waitress to light a candle for us on the table, to which she received the answer that only a special waiter could light candles, so she couldn’t help us! As a result, she did not call this special waiter, but simply a passing waiter (not ours) took and swapped our unlit candle with a lit one from a nearby empty table, and this happened after 15-20 minutes of waiting!) Also, the waitress was constantly distracted by other tables, bringing them drinks, while other customers placed their orders later than us, but nevertheless brought them tea earlier. At first I couldn’t understand how this happened, but then I noticed: at the bar, the bartender, waiters, hostesses, and restaurant manager were having a lot of fun, constantly communicating!) It’s not surprising that orders are confused or forgotten) Moreover, when I asked the waitress how to get to the restroom, the answer was given: “it’s too difficult to explain, ask the hostess.” And the way is this: exit the restaurant door, turn left and go to the door with the snowflake. It's very hard to explain, right?) The apotheosis of everything was the settlement of the soup situation. I ordered potato cream soup with jamon. I waited for him for a long time, about 40-45 minutes. When they brought it, I tried it and didn’t even understand what I was eating - this dish was so oversalted. I compared the soup with my husband’s soup, but he ate hodgepodge, and even hodgepodge is inferior in saltiness to my soup! I addressed this question to the waitress and received an answer that the restaurant manager would now sort it out in the kitchen. The waitress didn't even offer to immediately replace the dish. As a result, the restaurant manager returned 10-15 minutes after contacting her with the answer that the soup was salty, but not too salty, and it was all about my receptors. According to the restaurant manager, my receptors are “too refined,” so I perceive flavors more vividly. What does “too refined” mean? I still don’t know the answer. I don’t drink alcohol, I can’t imagine how I could cleanse my receptors. And not only I, but also my husband felt the soup so over-salted; do we have equally purified receptors? In general, only the restaurant manager offered to replace the dish, but realizing that it would take another 30-40 minutes to cook, I refused. As for food, all dishes are mediocre. They cannot be called the “author’s interpretation” of classic Russian cuisine; they do not have a special taste. Not a single dish left much of an impression. This is how I remember visiting this place. Service: Dine in Meal type: Dinner Food: 3 Service: 1 Atmosphere: 3

A very beautiful place! The breakfast was very tasty and it would have been better if I had stopped at it so as not to spoil the impression. I ordered veal tongue. I waited a long time for the dish. As a result, I received it with a clear truffle aroma. There was not a word on the menu about the presence of truffle oil in this item. I call the waiter and ask him to change it, there really is a truffle. Afterwards the manager came up to me and not with an apology, but with an attack. The tone was normal, but the speech itself said that if you are allergic to a food product, I should have warned you. Apparently, the fact that a person simply cannot tolerate the taste of some ingredient is not a reason for alteration. And truffle oil is a very specific ingredient, both in taste and smell. They remade it without the sauce specified in the position, because they had it made in advance. No apology, no discount, no compliment. Only a long wait and a collision that needs to be warned about allergies. It’s a pity, I had already praised the place to my friends and was going to become a regular visitor, but now I certainly don’t. With that attitude. The wardrobe man is an excellent, pleasant person! But it wouldn’t hurt to change the manager’s style of communication with visitors. Service: Dine in Food: 5 Service: 1 Atmosphere: 5
