This wasn’t what I expected.I’ve Been to sixty million postcards many times, including the first day after bars reopened in the summer. There has never been any issues from us or from the staff before. On my visit yesterday me and 2 friends went for a drink and meal. The venue was good but the service was really not good at all.We know that you have to have food on the table to keep drinking but we were quite hungry so ate up anyway. (I ordered tobacco onions too which the server didn’t include in our order but that’s forgivable) We were told we could have one more drink by a lady server. Because we were having a good evening we asked to delay this so we could prolong our stay, to which we were told this was fine. We also asked to move tables to avoid the rain which we were told was also fine.About 30 mins later a new, guy, server came out and told us that actually we should be paying up as we only had 20 minutes to order final drinks, which we were never told. We explained this and even exchanged a joke with the server, ordered our drinks and so although we felt a little weird being put on the naughty step by the bar we were okay with things and had not a word of protest. What tipped the whole experience over the edge though was a third server we hadn’t spoken to. Another guy. He came out not 2-3 minutes after we had ordered our drinks (they hadn’t arrived) and told us in a rather aggressive and condescending tone that we had been causing trouble moving tables and ordering drinks when we shouldn’t (not true) and that if we ordered any by the app they would take our money and forcibly remove us from the venue (excuse me?)Me and my friend were totally shocked and tried to explain what had actually happened but the server didn’t back down at all and said this was a warning.Safe to say we didn’t enjoy our last drink all that much and left quickly after.I’m sure you guys must get a lot of difficult customers during this time but we weren’t them. I don’t know if it was a lack of communication between staff or if we got really unlucky with the last server but it all ended up a really unnecessary end to the evening.

Hi Guys, thanks for leaving the review. Obviously at the moment we're under quiet a lot of stress balancing substantial meals and drinks with all the rules- it sounds like a bit of a communication breakdown and your server was over zealous, so please accept our apologies, this isn't a common occurrence as you say in your initial paragraph. Happy to have a chat if you'd like to drop us an email with contact details- info@sixtymillionpostcards.com thanks Rich
