You’ve heard of a dive bar, but never a dive bar with live music and excellent jazz at that have you? I went with a friend from New York, who is not into such honky-tonk kind of places we went into the back, which has old gasoline, stand signs and metal from rooftops and all sorts of Bricker brackand she actually really liked it. Phil is terrific as all the people who work here and the music was just spot on. I don’t know why I haven’t been here before but I’m definitely going to go again it’s an original. Price per person: $1–10 Service: 5 Atmosphere: 5

Soul Man Sam sang "Hole in the Wall" last night, which describes The Skylark Lounge, but in a good way. What a great little joint with a friendly, awesome atmosphere. We found this place because some of the fancier places were sold out, but you just show up to the Skylark and pay a low cover. What a lucky break, because we had the greatest time.
