This place was nothing but an overwhelming and awe-inspiring experience from walking into their establishment all the way through leaving. There was never a dull moment! I had been slightly weary, reading some of the previous reviews (especially the negative ones), but I assure you I found absolutely no merit to a single one of them. We were offered immediate help upon arrival, and the young lady was obviously off for the day and 9n her way out. She politely offered to help, but we declined and were greeted just as quickly as she had said goodbye. All the waiting staff were exceptionally friendly and accommodating, and more than happy to answer all of our questions, as it was our first time ever. Keisha (Mikeisha) made sure to make us feel welcome and comfortable, suggested to us their best entrees, drinks, and specials for the day (not that I can imagine anything here being short of delightful), and we were just as promptly served our drinks and appetizers. I never once had to flag anyone down, let alone wait or wonder when it came to our needs or ordering. They made sure we were well attended to! And if that wasn't enough, the food itself, from the several appetizers, the house made condiments, all the way to our dinner entrees were succulent! I knew it was going to be stellar just from how good their cornbread and fried green tomatoes came out. You'd think from the website that this was a nice, casual BBQ themed restaurant, but the location in Maumee is so much more. I certainly feel like I dined 5 star in experience and the quality of our meal. Here's the real icing on the cake, too...we were so swollen with compliments throughout the night, that there GM Joe came out to greet us personally and receive our feedback and experience of dining in with Smokey Bones. This man is clearly doing something right (for those of you in Corporate reading). Just his personable and engaging demeanor, alongside his willingness to connect with his guests has sold me indefinitely to your company. He even personally made our donuts, and I could continue to rave on and on about the food! I'm a proud Bones Club member now, and I'll definitely be a regular with my family and friends. Please recognize them for their excellence and kudos to Smokey Bones Maumee!!!
