All the customers adore great New Zealand cuisine at this restaurant. You can always enjoy perfectly cooked smoked burgers, steaks and fish & chips at Smokys. Ordering good pancakes, banana split and ice cream cakes is what many visitors recommend. Milkshakes that you will try are great.

Was a massive fan of Smokys and was very disappointed to find its been replaced by urban grill. I decided to try their deluxe chicken burger as it was closest to the Mary Jane burger, sadly for $18 the burger was large and the chicken well cooked but that’s where the positives ended, the chicken wasn’t seasoned well at all, very bland. The cheese was next to non existent, even when I asked for extra (Smokys did the greatest grilled cheese on their burgers) and it just lacked the flavour and goodness. No lime shakes, no Rewa cheese steaks and no pancakes with Nutella and ice cream (best cheat day meal). I’m not going to dismiss it before I try more but I am more than a little disappointed in the change of owners and the lack of at least trying to honour the old menu. Good enough for a munch but doesn’t hold a candle to the great. R.I.P Smokys.

Amazing burgers, worth every penny spent and would pick this place over burgerfuel, Burger King, maccas, burger burger etc any day

Walked in store was empty person cooking on the grill didnt get a hello nothing.. waited to be served.. nothing walked out. After all the raves n comments wasnt expecting not to feel welcome
