Tl;DR: I FOUND BROKEN GLASS IN MY FOOD AT SOCIAL BAKEHOUSE CAFE IN ARLINGTON, TX. I ordered two sandwiches from Social Bakehouse Cafe through Grubhub. One for lunch and another to keep in the fridge for lunch the next day. One was incorrect, and in the second sandwich, I bit into a SHARD OF GLASS inside of a vegan pimiento cheese sandwich. When contacted over social media and I sent them the photo, they claimed the restaurant did not have any clear glass in it and would not issue a full refund for my order. (In social media photos you can clearly see clear drinking glasses in the place.) They tried to blame it on the Grubhub driver although my order was inside of a closed clamshell box SEALED inside a plastic bag. I contacted Grubhub. They called them to investigate and refunded me. I called Social Bakehouse Cafe on the phone and told them they need to throw out those batches of food so no child (or anyone!) would ingest broken glass. Later, another person shared my photo with their page and the social media said nobody ever found glass, called them a "lying coward" and told them to get "mental help." DO NOT SUPPORT THIS BUSINESS.
