Soco Thornton Park was pretty so-so as a restaurant. First of all, the menu needs to be updated online. They do not have daily specials, they have constant mid normals. The chicken was good, the prices are outrageous. I really spent 11 dollars on 4 tiny Mac and Cheese balls. The braised pork was good. They didn't even have any lamb ready. And for the chicharrones it was more dip than pork. And the strawberry bread pudding tasted like dipping a slice of bread in water and then leaving it out to dry. The waiter barely showed up either and didn't follow up when I asked for refills of water and wifi passwords. He couldn't have forgotten either because he only had 2 tables and staff he loved talking to. Maybe they hire off looks instead of brains... Overall, while they told me they are redoing the menu, they might need a redo internally as well. Go to Jinya Ramen Shop across the street. Vegetarian options: They have good cauliflower Parking: Hope you like spending 12 dollars too on parking!
