Tried this place for the first time tonight. Didn’t realize it was food truck but no issue at all. The wok was out of service but plenty to choose from. Very pleasantly surprised. Excellent Thai food. Highly recommended for any Thai lovers. Note be clear about the levels of heat when you order. Their yellow curry was the best we have tasted. We will be regular customers. I Literally texted a friend while eating my vegetarian Pho Phak to tell him that it was, perhaps, the Best pho I had ever had. And that includes some great establishments in Portland area. I would have liked a little more tofu but will ask for that next time. I WILL be back...Often! One note: Google maps put this place at 330 W Main when in actuality at that location, there is a Mediterranean restaurant that was closed. Fortunately, I wandered around the corner and happened to find the truck about half a block from that address so, owner/manager might want to check Google maps navigation. Service: Take out

We visited Soi 71: A Thai Noodle House the first night we were in Walla Walla, as the menu looked interesting with eclectic Thai dishes beyond the average fare.  It was a delicious dinner. When we visited on a Friday night the dining room was packed and it would've been a 30-minute wait.  But the hostess mentioned that patrons could sit in the bar where they serve the full dinner menu, so we decided to get a table there.  The entire space of Soi 71 is very nice and inviting.   While my boyfriend ordered the Khao Mun Kai, a fried chicken over rice, served with mung bean sauce and cucumbers and a side of chicken soup.  I ordered my favorite Thai dish, Khao Soi.  For a cocktail I ordered a drink that was made with coconut milk, rum, mint and soda. Though the cocktail came out quickly, it wasn't all that appealing.  I expected to taste more of the coconut, but tasted the soda and mint more than anything else.  It was a shame since I ordered this particular cocktail based off the fact that it was coconut forward.  I'd skip the cocktails, and stick with the local wines and beers offered here. Our food took a really, really long time to get.  We were starving, so even considered getting more food as we waited half an hour for our dinner.  But fortunately, by the time our food came, it really was wonderful.  My boyfriend enjoyed his Khao Mun Kai, as the chicken was tender and the mung bean sauce was spicy yet intriguing.  I loved my Khao Soi!  It was spicy, which is how I like my Thai dishes, and the broth was fantastic.  I wanted to make sure that the bowl had nothing left.  I also like that when you order, they do not customize spice levels at all.  That's how you know you're at an authentic Thai place.  You've been warned!   Overall, Soi 71 had such awesome Thai dishes that were really flavorful.  But service was suppper slow.  We even had to wait a while to get our server's attention for more water, which is horrible when you're especially eating a spicy meal!  Other than that, food was spot on.
