Gordon Parks Centennial is a great attraction for tourists who come to eat at this restaurant after long walks. Being at Sons & Daughters, eat nicely cooked caviar, rainbow trout and amuse bouches. The truth is that you will really enjoy tasty ice cream, panna cotta and Brezeln. Good chardonnay, champagne or bitter are worth a try here. You will appreciate delicious tea, coffee or lemonade at this place.

You will like attractive prices. There is a comfortable atmosphere and nice decor at this restaurant. It's a Michelin one-star restaurant, the award is usually given for serving tasty meals.

THE BEST service I have had, ever. I felt special and welcome. Beautiful and thoughtfully put together dishes that were creative and delicious. Would certainly go back for a special occasion.
We enjoyed our time here. The food was intricately prepared and tasted amazing. We had an major issue with a dishonest server writing in a large tip we didn't approve and very possibly stealing our credit card information. Watch your bank account very carefully if you've attended this restaurant recently.
I think I would give Sons & Daughters a 2.5/5 ideally, but in this case I'm rounding down unfortunately because I just can't get over how much we had to pay for mediocre food. For two people, one wine pairing, and one glass of wine we paid $531.82 for the meal. Of all the restaurant options in San Francisco (including a number without a Michelin star), I would not recommend Sons & Daughters. We will not be going again. Cons: - For what it was, it was EXTREMELY overpriced. I don't think the meal was worth paying $500+ for, at most it was a $250 - MAXIMUM $300 experience. - The staff brought "welcome" drinks to most parties celebrating something (which was most people since few people casually spend that much on a meal). We saw three tables around us get a welcome drink either for a birthday or anniversary, but we were not offered one. We were celebrating a new job - maybe they only offer this for certain celebrations, but we found it annoying to see that. - Most of the courses were average or good, but very few stood out as being excellent (there were only 3/8 that we felt were really great). - The octopus dish was genuinely bad. The octopus was overcooked and very chewy. If you've had octopus that was cooked correctly, you know that is not the right texture. - The peaches & cream dessert was a disappointment. They layered in a sorbet in the dessert which gave the dessert a bad texture. You had to chew certain elements, but the sorbet was unpleasant to chew (obviously). Pros: - The wine pairings were actually excellent. They enhanced the dishes, and the food brought out the best of the wine as well. Hats off to the sommelier. - Service was excellent and very friendly. - Small touches like knowing our names, etc. were very nice. - Decor was nice. - The venison tartar was very good. - Chilled melon & uni soup was excellent. - Hibiscus sorbet dessert was very good.
