South Coast Coffee Lively, bright and beautifully put together. It has a genuinely relaxed feel and the space is otherwise lovely to sit in. The only thing that lets it down is the plastic planting. In a space that is clearly trying to feel fresh, warm and calming, fake greenery slightly cheapens the effect. Real planting would completely lift it and make the whole place feel much more considered. Overall: simply cannot fault the staff or food beautiful, relaxing and full of life, just let down by the plastic plants. We were genuinely excited to try what turned out to be one of the best bagels we’ve ever had — absolutely delicious and clearly made with care. Unfortunately, we arrived about an hour (3 pm) before closing and were told they no longer serve them warm at that point, only cold. As a result, we could only stay for a coffee, despite the café still being open to the public until 4 pm. A little disappointing, as the quality is excellent and we would have loved to enjoy the full experience. :/ Meal type: Brunch Price per person: £1–10 Food: 5 Service: 1 Atmosphere: 5
