I will clarify now that I didn't get to eat the food as it never got that far. I was excited to try the food here as it was my first time. No one was behind the counter. I called hello as two other customers were eating their food. After waiting 5-10 minutes no one came out from the back. I had walked to the back and front a few times to see if anyone was working and no one showed. I went to my truck and called the store to see if there would be an answer. They answered the phone and I asked if the store was open today. They said yes until 9pm. And then I explained what happened and why I was calling. And the response was "so what? Come in then." I will not be returning as customers are clearly bad for business in this establishment.

Ok, i not writing this to bash people... im just writing it as it is...We just moved to Guelph 5 days ago... everything seems amazing and was super stoked that there was a South St. Burger....Ive eaten at the Burlington, Oakville and Aurora locations... loved they were affiliated with NY Fries... again, this was seveal yrs ago (thanks pandemic)Then, service was quick, great options etc.. now, not sure if this Guelph location is part of those or if things have changed that much, but i had some family come over and said id buy South St. cause im always saying how good they r...I entered at 5:40p , there were 3 people ahead... took a bit for them to get there order... now my turn...1st, only 2 people working... i placed my order, nearly $75 worth and find out no onion rings...ok, it happens, then they have no change... how do u run a business without change??Cashier was friendly, seemed a bit off her game but maybe thats cause theres only 2 working.. now the other peoples order was ready so she goes to serve them and the cook comes out to do cash and finish the order.. 45min later finally get all the food ordered, doing the toppings and asked for the buttermilk ranch sauce... there was still some left inside but cause she didnt tap the bottom so it would fall down she just say sorry were out...I live 2 min down the road, took over an hour to get the food and when i got home it was all cold... not impressed.. not sure if those 2 were management or employees but they need more then 2 people there.. plus there was 3 more people behind me waitingFriendly people but very inefficient...
