My husband and I had a fantastic dinner last night at the Upper Beaches Bourbon House. First, it’s located in a tiny strip mall and appears to be mostly a take-out place with a few tables. There is virtually no atmosphere. However, looks are deceiving as we were in for an incredibly good meal and excellent friendly service. We started with bourbon sours that were expertly made. Took us right back to New Orleans. Next we had the blackened chicken livers with lemon beurre - SO delicious! For my entree, I had the creole jambalaya with shrimp and it was outstanding. Plus, it was plated as if we were sitting in a Michelin star restaurant. We were so full we took our bread pudding with bourbon sauce to go and ate it later. Another fabulous dish. A big shout out to the friendly server who made our meal so enjoyable and, of course, the chef. Bravo!! We will definitely be back.

Perfect. We stumbled onto this place a couple months ago on a trip through Toronto. We couldn't pass up a second visit, this time we added desert and were not disappointed.

I ordered the Poboy crispy coated catfish came on a big sub roll way to much bread also a ton of lettuce lettuce two tomatoes and three little pieces of fish very disappointed not recommend it sorry to say I would not go back
