I stayed in the hotel and had dinner in their restaurant. Overall wonderful experience. Exceptional welcome from everyone. Very nice room, attic and with open bathroom. Excellent cleaning. Regarding the dinner I must say that I found it superlative. Local products treated with care and transformed into tasty dishes, beautiful to look at and which, as far as I'm concerned, also sparked memories of when I was little through the flavors that went straight to my heart. Perfect service. Beautiful presentation of the dishes, which recall nature and the surrounding area. Everything studied down to the smallest detail. You can feel the love that each of the team puts into their work. To finish, the 5-star breakfast with varied, delicious local products. Their aging cellar is very beautiful. For me excellent quality/price! Super recommended, I will definitely be back. Rooms: 5 Service: 5 Location: 5

The room for sleeping is located in an attic and the ceiling is very low. You must be careful not to hit your head on the wooden beams when you reach one side of the bed. Early in the morning we heard noises similar to repeated creaks coming from the beams or wooden furniture. We assume it's due to worm-eaten wood. Breakfast was not a buffet, as described in the announcement and it was served to us 20 minutes later than the agreed time. We had no idea what to expect and some dishes were not to our liking (unidentified jams, fried eggs - I don't like raw yolk and had to ask to have it scrambled again, very acidic yogurt, etc.) , without any description of what we were eating. Unfortunately there were also problems at check-out: in fact we were asked for €20/person for breakfast, instead of €10/person as indicated in the announcement on the portal where we booked. Despite our complaints, the host didn't want to hear about it and we had to waste a lot of time the following days to forward the refund request to the portal through which we booked. The host, despite saying that he would no longer accept customers from the platform through which we booked, took care to update the price of breakfast after our departure. This further complicated our refund request. Rooms: 1 Service: 1 Location: 2

My wife and I stayed overnight at Spacapanova Hisa as a stop on a 7-day cycling tour, and we had dinner and breakfast there. This was a memorably great stay and I highly recommend it. It’s a small operation where the owner seems to do everything: host, sommelier, waiter, food runner, busboy, and presumably cooking a lot of the food. It’s a labor of love, and his passion really comes through. The food was really excellent. We dined at several Michelin star restaurants on the trip, and the food and experience at Spacapanova was equally special while being far less pretentious (and half the price). Everything is homemade, down to the beer, wine, balsamic vinegar, bread, and cured meats. So impressive! Meanwhile, the hotel was clean, comfortable, and air conditioned, and the breakfast was spectacular. Our cycling itinerary didn’t allow us to spend much time in the town, so I can’t speak for the surroundings. But as a stop on a tour, this was such a delightful surprise. Just make sure to reserve dinner, as they only have a few tables. Rooms: 5 Service: 5 Location: 4
