I'm sad that this place is now closed but I wanted to show them my appreciation with this review. I've lived here in Hawaii my whole life and never knew that this place existed. As cliche as it sounds, this is truly a hidden gem. The views up there are breathtaking and everyone who works there is filled with kindness and friendliness. You can tell that their lemonades are freshly squeezed and pure. The food was delicious. The grilled cheese sandwich has tomatoes and mustard which was such a nice adult twist to a classic. The soup of the day was black bean and it was just bursting with so much flavors. My compliments to the chef indeed.

Do the Picnic Lunch!!! The Spalding House Cafe is located inside of the museum. There are tables and eating area both inside and outside of the cafe. However, I highly recommend participating in their picnic lunch and taking a seat outside on their beautiful lawn. The picnic lunch comes with your choice of a sandwich or salad from their menu. I got the panini and it was delicious. You can choose to have it with a side salad or their soup. We got to enjoy the creamy tomato soup and it was wonderful! The picnic meal also came with a chewy brownie and a drink. This was all for $20 per person! Such a great deal! They pack the meal into a cute picnic basket and give you a large picnic mat to sit on. It's so nice and relaxing to sit out on the large lawn area and enjoy your meal under the shade. I can't wait to visit again!
