We can highly recommend this restaurant for their friendly, professional service and wonderful cuisine. We each had fish -- salmon and cod--beautifully done and well presented. The Riesling from Weingut Aust was top notch and a perfect match. The person who served us was not only very professional but also very observant and kind: she made sure we could have a quiet corner, without making anyone else feel uncomfortable. Everyone around us seemed to be realy enjoying themselves. That's true service. Here's a tip for those of you without cars: you don’t have to climb those crazy steps ! you can arrive by bus! Take the 475 bus from Radebeul (hourly, check last return trip). In 8 minutes you are in Wahnsdorf, Schulstrasse From there a 10-minute walk on the flat and you’re at the door of the restaurant. Dress code? There is no stated dress code. Tourists and locals climbing up the famously steep steps (Spitzhaustreppe) will of course be very casually dressed and will fit right in on the terrace. In the Restaurant? No rules here but I suggest for a normal lunch or dinner that gents wear any kind of long pants---plain jeans or chinos---with a polo shirt. Any shirt with a collar will do. You’ll be super comfortable and look great for the photos. Enjoy!
