My girlfriend and I visit Playa quiet often and we love Sr. Dan's bar. He is always very hospitable and makes you feel very welcome. The bar is close to the ferry that goes to Cozumel, so you can always grab a margarita or two before heading off. There are TV's to watch any sports games, but be careful that you don't get to excited and fall out of the swing that you'll be getting intoxicated in while rooting for you favorite team. The margarita's are made with fresh local fruit instead of the syrup we are use to in the states. We'll always visit Sr. Dan's when in Playa.

Couldn't rightfully give it a "2", as I didn't get to try the 'ritas or food, because they were "cash only", and we were close to broke. Not good business for such a busy area. Also, bad exchange rate for American to Peso. Pro's: Friendly service and clean. Seem to use quality ingredients.

Dan es un Americano que vino a Playa del Carmen a poner un bar. Primero hubo un pequeño bar tipo isla en la estación del ferry que va a Cozumel. Hace poco se graduó con este bar deportivo especializado en margaritas que, aunque el lugar es pequeño, está ganando atención. El encanto de este pequeño ver deportivo es justo eso, su tamaño. Es un lugar familiar en el aspecto de que con ir un par de veces ya te conocen y tratan como amigo. Ver el fútbol americano aquí es una experiencia especial pues sientes la pasión estilo americana. Las margaritas son excelentes pues se diferencian de caso cualquier otro restaurante o bar de la ciudad por usar fruta fresca en lugar de jarabes y concentrados. La de kiwi es sin duda la más interesante, no pierdas la oportunidad de probarla. Comer aquí es normal, comida casual para acompañar tu bebida.
