Fantastic pub located 15 minutes walk along the promenade from Wardie Bay. Alternatively you can get the 23 bus along Ferry Road and walk down the hill. This place is warm and friendly. There is a great buzz when live sports events are on. Often there is a raffle for charity and a free pie at half time! It is a popular, dog-friendly venue. There are some benches out front next to the park, and also a small beer garden to the rear. There is a disabled toilet and a wheelchair accessible entrance to the side of the building. Wheelchair accessibility: Wheelchair accessible entrance to the side. Disabled toilet. Price per person: £10–20 Recommended dishes: Steak Pie, Fish & Chips, Belhaven Standrews Ale Sausage and Mash

Went to the Starbank Inn when we were on holiday at Newhaven in April. The food was so nice the first time we went back again. A very welcoming pub. Lovely helpful staff. FAB! Great to chat with others. I even got to hold a puppy.
