Really great restaurant. The dim sum style takes the pretension out of a fine dining menu by providing you the opportunity to experience a plethora of dishes without the rigor of a tasting menu. I highly recommend trying this spot with a party of four or more. You don't want to turn a dish down when it's brought by on the cart and succinctly destined. Prices are very reasonable given the fishes provided. I will be back as soon as I can, not only because of the delicious food options, but for the delicious and eclectic wines that are available by the glass and bottle. Well worth planning a visit.
I'm so glad I finally made it here and really wish I'd could have gotten in sooner because this place is fun. And the food is really good. And it's fun. The dim sum aspect is fun (just say yes when they come by). The loud (not too loud) music (they played souljia boy) is fun. The menu is interesting and fun. Man, I just really had a good time. I'm not sure how often the menu changes so i don't know how much it makes sense to get into specifics, but I really liked this dungeness crab and tofu skin main and this buckwheat pancake pastrami beef tongue thing. I mean pretty much everything was good, but those are the two that have stayed with me a few days later. I will say that the eponymous fried quail is just ok though, and you could probably skip it.
It’s dim sum style- come around with dishes that you can pick and choose. They add up so keep that in mind. I’d come here for their desserts alone though. The ice cream sandwich is out of this world!
