I gave up on Steak 'n Shake in 2019 after too many absurd wait times at the drive thru. After a busy Home Depot shopping trip, I thought I'd give them another chance by placing an order inside. Wow, they made significant changes after Covid. I placed a to-go order at a kiosk and while the place was busy, my burger was ready in just 5 minutes. It was hot, tasty, and quite excellent. So while I always loved their burgers, it was the horrible service that drove me away. It seems this location has made great improvements in service and I looking forward to coming back!
