If you want to remember San Vitale e Agricola in Arena, come to Stefino first. This place offers its visitors to degust Vegetarian cuisine. Nicely cooked gelato have a pleasant taste.

Let me start off by saying that there really is no such thing as bad gelato in Italy but Stefino took it to the next level. I scored a double with chocolate and nut blend of pistachio, almond and pine nut. It was so creamy and stretchy. They even plopped some fresh whipped cream on the top. They also have rice milk based gelato and sorbetto. Prices were average for gelato. Highly recommend.

This is the best gelato in Bologna, hands down. My husband and I came here several times because of the quality and unique flavors. They are also dairy and gluten-free; an added bonus but not a requirement. The flavor combinations they have created go way beyond the typical nociccola and straticella. Blood orange, lime and ginger. Chocolate with sour cherry and ginger. Amazing. The staff is friendly and allows samples. Stefino is off the beaten path, but well worth the hunt. We will definitely be back, multiple times, on our next trip.

Organic gelato in bologna! Does it get any better. Our server, who may have been the owner was fantastic, nice, and helpful. Very interesting selection of options that had my daughters trying multiple samples. Great spot.
