Food was amazing, slight mix-up with the order and our waitress going awol just as we needed some soy sauce. They rectified it quickly though. Chose a set menu and there was more than enough. The view and ambiance of the restaurant were fantastic, with cozy tables and friendly management. The waiter was pleasant, but unfortunately, the experience was marred by the quality of the food. It was disappointing to discover that all the skewered food items came from the freezer, resulting in a watery and less flavorful meal. The rice paper used for sushi was not properly soaked, though still enjoyable. The lack of flexibility in substituting items could be problematic for customers with allergies. Pricing seemed unreasonable compared to other options, with overpriced tempura shrimp that could be found elsewhere for much less. The lack of interest from the staff in addressing our dissatisfaction with the food was disappointing. Lastly, the payment attendant lacked humor and made a comment about his pay that was off-putting, leading us to forego leaving a tip. Overall, while the atmosphere and service were pleasant, the quality and value of the food left much to be desired I did NOT find ish the food.
