The unhappy 20-something girl that took my order this afternoon was rude from the start. I asked her if they had a certain cheese, rather than saying yes or no, she says 'the list on the glass shows what kind of cheese we have." She started toasting my sandwich without asking me, then seemed annoyed when I told her I didn't want it toasted. Then, she stood in front of the vegetables and just stared at me blankly without saying or asking anything, waiting for me to just say what vegetables wanted. The older cashier that rang me up was super friendly. They should have switched roles. It's a unfortunate time that not as many young people are interested in working, or need to because they've found other means, So businesses can't be discerning in who they hire. I made the mistake of going to Starbucks first, where the employees are almost always friendly and professional. What a contrast. And they use giant, plastic bags for the sandwiches when some of the other subways are moving towards recycled paper bags. What a waste. I won't be returning to this Subway. Boo. This is my go to place for lunch when I’m working over here in Redlands! Thank you to the team here for all your hard work it is genuinely appreciated! Great sandwiches and excellent service!
