Just want to give a special mention to the team who went above and beyond today, in this weather to deliver exceptional food and service is just amazing. For the chef to deliver those standards in that heat deserves credit. I could see him through the hatch struggling but kept producing high quality food, hats off to you sir! Also well done to all the front of house team too who kept smiles on their faces. What a fantastic place hidden just off the A50 and tucked away in beautiful surroundings. Had the full English breakfast with coffee, and the quality of the food, particularly the sausage and bacon was exceptional. The coffee again was fabulous and it's small attentions to detail by the staff preparing the drinks (i have an intolerance to dairy so the suggestions and alternatives were great) that really does make it stand out. Also hats off to James the chef, the unseen hero.. the food was outstanding. I took my Girlfriend for her Birthday breakfast today. The staff and the food were brilliant. Its a shame the large amount of cyclists cycling through the courtyard, pushing in the queue and even telling me to f off put a dampner on it. Highly recommend this lovely venue, just a shame a certain group treat it as there own. No fault of the sudbury stables though.
