Great service for a solid price.
Five star rooms, toiletries, service, food and cocktails! Not to mention a shower that I'd love to have at home!
The best meal I ate in SA during my 5 day stay! I had not had a real deal American weekend brunch in 8 months since leaving USA in Jan and just now coming back for this work trip and oh my.....I have been craving good old breakfast/brunch fare and I found it x10 here at Hotel Emma via Supper! My dad and I had made an 830am RSVP a few days out to be sure to get seats but found it no issue to get seated on arrival as it was not yet too busy at all. The interior of the hotel is spectacular in general but the Supper restaurant is equally chic, modern, rustic and spacious with tons of natural light coming in. A trye brunchy vibe is mainted as you feel as much outside and in. Clear view of the back kitchen whipping up all kinds of goodies with front row bar seats if you wish to sit there. We picked the back side near the window/doors to the patio. Service from both the GM and our waitress was super professional, kind, welcoming and helpful during out meal I must say. She even tossed in an order of the famous green tea poweder bigniets for us to try and OMG am I glad she did. 6 little explosions of New Orleans doughy sweet goodness with every bite! I got the turkey pesto sando, millionaires bacon and side of pulled chicken. My pops got 2 orders of buttermilk pancakes topped with riccota cheese-apple streusel. He's a pancake guy like me but I was craving more savory and he the sweet so we got what our belly wanted! Not one plate of food we had was consumed without multple audible "mmmmmmmsss" nor was any plate left with a speck of food for that matter. It was way to darn good to leave any behind. Bacon is to die for and makes you feel like a million bucks with each bite Dads hotcakes were flapjack perfection with real warm apple bits mixed into the buttermilk batter and the decadent apple riccota streusel. Turkey pesto on seeded grain toast with avocado and! This is one sando that easily satisfies any breakfast brunch dilemma fast! Pulled chicken side, simple, delicious, moist, flavorful chicken that adds a bit of protein to any breakfast meal you get just as I intended. Generouss portion too. El Zocor Gutamalen coffee (limited time offering) was also a nice treat as it was very good and just strong enough. Fruity, bold, slightly bitter, mild acidity and strong body. I had cups with my meal if thats any sign I liked it...sourced only to Supper restaurant for them to use I am told so it really is exclusive to diners here only. Thank god we had lots of walking the rest of the day as we were offically carbed up after this meal with big old smiles on our faces from the delicious meal. All that grub we had was just $41 before tip. So its quite affordable to eat here as well despite what may seem at first glance like a pricy place to not for brunch. Oh and a tip! Sunday's at 9am right out back a big farmers market kicks off with food, shops, crafts, and more! Only wish we would have had room left to try more of the foods there also! Great place to stroll and people watch for sure.
