All the customers like great Japanese cuisine at this restaurant. The chef at Sushi Den is said to cook perfectly cooked salmon appetizers, salmon nigiri and amazing dragon rolls. Come here for fantastic banana pies, green tea ice cream and wonderful cream cakes if you are hungry. In accordance with the visitors' opinions, waiters offer great wine, beer or nice fino sherry. Easily one of the best Sushi restaurants I've ever been to...and what a surprise to find it in Denver! The chefs are amazing guys and they import all the fish fresh from Japan every day. My husband and I did the omakase for his birthday and loved every course. The chef brothers were very friendly and so knowledgeable about everything they served. We will keep going back so long as our wallets will allow.
every time I go here the food is always delicious. one of the best sushi places in Denver. we've always encountered friendly servers. it's not really the place to take a large party though. the seared nigiri is very flavorful since they torch it. do yourself a favor and get the hamachi kama. it's the collar section of the fish and the meat of the fish is so friggin good. if you like unagi try the anago-sea water eel nigiri. it's a little bit softer in texture but the flavors are amazing. the jalapeño hamachi sashimi is also just as good. valet parking provided but if you pass the restaurant there's a parking garage across the street. you can get your ticket validated so you don't need to pay for parking. man, I want to go back now.
Love the lively atmosphere & the service we received was very nice. Not a big fan of the food at all. When it comes to sushi, I LOVE sushi as long as it's very good.  I really struggle with restaurants that have a lot of cream cheese or the fake fish stuff on the menu & in their rolls. The sushi fish we ordered was fine.  The thinly sliced tuna with various herbs and other items to season... very abrupt use of the flavors, not delicate at all.. sort of ruined a good piece of fish. Didn't care for the green apple and orange slices in the seaweed salad either.   True sushi lovers, please tell me about any gems in Denver ?! We like the product at matsuhisa but will consider other options.
