If you feel hungry after visiting Central Park, have a meal at this restaurant. Sushi Sam's Edomata is recommended to Japanese cuisine lovers. If hungry, come here for perfectly cooked salmon nigiri, seared tuna and california rolls. Try good tiramisu, sesame ice cream and cheesecakes that are proposed at this place. You will be offered delicious draft beer or good wine. Don't miss the opportunity to drink great matcha or delicious coffee.

This spot is famous for its great service and friendly staff, that is always ready to help you. But the general score for this restaurant isn't high on Zomato.

Sushi Sam is hands down the best sushi place in the Bay Area. Everything is so fresh and melts in your mouth. You should expect a wait no matter what time of the day you go but it is worth it. My favorite items to get there are the chili dog hand roll, Super Sam's special, and the dragon roll. The service there is also a 10/10.
The best!  Very sushi, very nice.  You are not worthy enough to know how great this place is.  Go to the other restaurants so I don't have wait in line.
WORST SERVICE EVER! Forget about service, the front staffs are straight up rude, and thinks way too highly about their jobs. Right when I walk in, the guy in the front tells me there was going to be a 45 min wait- I looked surprised because there really wasn't that many people in front of me. Not to mention I was by myself. Then he goes "yes, this is sushi Sam" (like this place is that big of a deal or something). "Mmm okay" I thought. Sure enough, a seat opened up in less than 10 min. Then goes the ordering- I ordered 5 different nigiris, and they're supposed to be 2 piece per order. But then I heard the guy next to me ordering 1 piece of each kind so I asked the server if I can do the same. Then he goes, "no, only him (pointing at the guy next to me)". Then the guy next to me secretly told me afterwards that that's not true, people order 1 piece there all the time. Bottom line is, this place discriminates, and the food is really NOT ALL THAT! I've had many good sushi here in the Bay Area and this place is way overrated!
