Sweet Necessities

Hi there - we actually use the same pricing on the caramels as the previous owner, so I’m not sure how long ago you were able to purchase them for $6 but it has to have been many years, unfortunately. We use the same high-quality ingredients as the original owner from back in the day, which of course now cost so so much more :/ The ice cream hasn’t really been downsized, with the exception of the kids scoop being more traditional kids sized, which most parents have been grateful for - and as parents ourselves we realized small kids didn’t need an entire bucket of sugar. We too are frustrated yet affected by inflation. We wish, like everyone else does, that we could offer the same product at the same price as was available just a few years ago. However, the cost of the same ingredients had increased so dramatically, that our prices have had to reflect that. I’m sorry you’re disappointed in our inability to stay afloat if we don’t accommodate the changing economy. If we want to keep the doors open, we have to adapt.
