Auntie Carol's came recommended to us from our friends in Hawaii. It's a great little spot, nestled in an artsy area. The inside isn't much, but the wall of canned spam made us chuckle. It was very spacious. We sat outside, which was shady and perfect for people watching. The food was pretty good! We got musubi for our kids, who happily gobbled them up. My partner and I both got mixed plates. I got teriyaki chicken, chicken katsu, and shredded pork. My only complaint was the katsu was slightly overcooked and dry. And they didn't have a katsu sauce to help with it! Everything else was great! Make sure to double check the hours as they are open only around lunch.

I was staying down in Ashland, and needed to come up to Medford to do some shopping.  I thought I could swing by here to grab a late lunch, but when I arrived a little before 2, they were already closed due to selling out.  So it mus be ono if that happens, and the reviews were pretty solid.  It wasn't crowded on my second attempt, and there were two loco kine guys there so that was a good sign. I got the huli huli chicken and kalua pork and asked for two mac and one rice which she accommodated.  I also got a spam musubi and a pass-o-guava drink.  Man, that spam musubi was perfect!  Nice and crispy!  Loved the chicken and the pork had that smokey flavor which brings back memories of the Big Island at my grandma's.   Lots of people coming in for take-out.  I wish I could've came back again, but my school schedule was pretty tight and although we do get a two hour lunch, it is time consuming driving up.  Definitely worth checking out! Mahalo Auntie Carol!
