Nestled in the heart of Granada, Taberna Al Pie de la Torre is a cozy eatery that serves up traditional Spanish cuisine. The ambiance is warm and welcoming, with friendly staff and a laid-back atmosphere that's perfect for a casual meal with friends or family. The interior design is simple but tasteful, with rustic wooden tables and chairs that add to the restaurant's charm.

Prices are reasonable, making it an ideal spot for budget-conscious diners who still want to enjoy high-quality food. The location is convenient, just a stone's throw away from the city's famous cathedral.

One of the special features of Taberna Al Pie de la Torre is its outdoor seating area, which offers a lovely view of the surrounding area. The bar is also a popular spot for locals, and serves up an impressive selection of cocktails, soft drinks, and wines.

Dishes to try include the morcilla (Spanish blood sausage), the seafood paella, and the salmorejo (thick cold tomato soup). The daily menu offers a first and second course, as well as dessert for the price of a single meal. For those who prefer smaller plates, the tapas selection is not to be missed.

Overall, Taberna Al Pie de la Torre is a fine dining spot that offers excellent food, great service, and a wonderful atmosphere. It's definitely worth a visit if you're in the area!

I had it as a reference as one of the best food places in Granada and it was disappointing. We ate in the restaurant. Quite expensive, taking into account that the quality of the product is not bad but not for the price and for the presentation of the dishes (I ordered hake and had to go back to the kitchen because it came raw), the tablecloths and paper napkins (they charge you for a main dish about €25), the service was correct but they were not friendly, the restaurant seemed cold to me and to top it all off I was surprised that the men's room was full of beer barrels... In short: it was not what I expected. A shame. Service: Dine in Meal type: Lunch Price per person: €40–50 Food: 3 Service: 2 Atmosphere: 2

It is a typical tavern here in Granada. It is small and is located in front of one of the sides of the cathedral. It's cheap and they give you a cover with every drink. The tapas are hearty and the fried fish is to die for (one of the best places where they do it). To add a but, I would say that the first tapa, the squid pancakes, I would omit, since they are not very good, they have been made since midday and they are soft. However, all the others are addicted. In addition, the portions are filling and of quality. For three we ordered: fried shrimp; oxtail and stew croquette (croquette) were delicious; Lamb gizzards, they couldn't be more good and tasty. For tapas we had: shrimp strips, fried anchovies, dogfish in adobo and salmorejo, the latter was EXQUISITE!! To finish, they gave us some bartolillos. We will ALWAYS return. Vegetarian options: It is not a place for vegetarians. It is very traditional food. Dietary restrictions: There are no gluten-free options. Parking: There is no parking as it is in the cathedral area. But very close is the San Agustín parking lot. Kid-friendliness: It is not a very comfortable place to go with children or strollers, since you are standing all the time or at the bar. It is a star place. Wheelchair accessibility: It is a narrow place for wheelchair access and is not very suitable. Unless you access the living room part. Service: Dine in Meal type: Dinner Price per person: €20–30 Food: 5 Service: 5 Atmosphere: 5 Recommended dishes: Tortitas de Camarones, Salmorejo Cordobés, Croquetas de Rabo de Toro, Tapa de Boquerones Fritos, Bartolillos de Crema Y Trufas, Gambas Parking space: Difficult to find parking
