Really good food. Wide range of drinks especially cocktails. Parking is very limited though. The Bulaklak with Jack Daniel's sauce is a must. Sisig is also great. Tastes like authentic Pampanga sisig. Service: Dine in Price per person: ₱1,200–1,400 Food: 5 Service: 5 Atmosphere: 4

Talabar Kitchen & Café in Mother Ignacia, Quezon City, is an excellent spot for a fresh oyster fix. Our group of six started with four platters of oysters, but they were so good that we couldn’t resist ordering two more—one plate for each of us! The oysters, sourced locally from Aklan, were perfectly sized and delicious, whether you prefer them fresh or cooked The atmosphere was cozy and relaxed, and it wasn’t too crowded when we visited, which added to the enjoyable experience. The staff were friendly and accommodating from start to finish, making us feel welcome the entire time. We were also treated to complimentary nori chips, though they disappeared so quickly that we didn’t even manage to snap a photo! What really enhanced the overall vibe was the great soundtrack playing in the background—it set a nice mood for the meal. We also tried a few cocktails, which were a bit on the sweeter side but still refreshing and beautifully presented. In terms of pricing, we found it fair for the quality and portion sizes, especially considering the freshness of the oysters. The entire experience was worth every peso. While oysters are the star, Talabar’s menu offers more than just seafood. They have a variety of other dishes that are definitely worth trying, and I've already enjoyed a few. There are still several items on the menu I’m looking forward to exploring on my next visit. Overall, it was a fantastic experience at Talabar Kitchen & Café. If you're an oyster lover—or just looking for a great dining spot with a diverse menu—this place is a must-visit. We’ll definitely be back for more! Food was overrated and expensive. Sisig was mostly fat and most of the salmon bomb was rice. The service was the worst. The waiter who served us gave us the wrong bill and we had to go back to get the correct change. He (the waiter) was intrusive, overly-familiar and kept asking personal questions after the meal. He also kept checking the change as if he were the customer or the cashier.
