If you happen to be around Fundacio Antoni Tapies, visit this bar. The menu of Mediterranean and Spanish cuisines under the direction of the talented chef are great here. Guests may have tasty fish tapas, grilled squid and jamon at Taller de Tapas. You will like its food, especially good parfait, che and chocolate mousse. Delicious white sangria, house wine or champagne are worth a try here. According to the guests' opinions, waiters serve great cortado, tea or tonic.

The warm atmosphere of this place makes customers feel relaxed and have a nice time. At this spot, the fast service is offered by the knowledgeable staff who is ready to help you. From the visitors' point of view, prices are fair. Many people suppose that the decor here is modern. But most clients who use Google didn't grant this bar a high rating.

Great place for drinks and tapas before dinner! The service was amazing, shout-out to Sony who is so kind and responsive. Would definitely come back here when I’m Barcelona again!

Gayle and I dined at a Taller de Tapas in the Born the last time we were in Barcelona in 2017.  This time around (in June 2022) we were walking the upper (and quieter) part of La Rambla looking for Lunch.  It was a warm and sunny day, so finding a table in the shade was important.  Gayle had also been told that any restaurant that showed pictures of their food was suspect.  I don't know whether that's true, but it did take a number of places out of contention. We finally arrived at a nice looking place, but with only tables in the Sun.  As we usually do, we looked to find where the home restaurant was located and it turned out to be Taller de Tapas.  We then wandered over the the "brick and mortar", looked inside and spotted a nice place to sit by the bar, and settled in. When I first started writing reviews, I often wondered why folks at the next table were taking pictures of their food.  Now I'm one of those people, and with the hypocrisy of not trusting the same dish pictured by the restaurant.  This time around at Taller de Tapas, I simply forgot to take any photos.  Maybe it was because Gayle and I were having such a great time, our choices were so good, and they were gone faster than we could pull our iphones out. And the service was stellar! Same as it Ever Was! Note - I don't put a lot of nuance into a food-related review and tend to also look at service, atmosphere, and fellowship as a whole.  So I understand a lower star review from someone who as a different food focus.  At the same time, I don't care that the chicken I'm eating was named Colin and that he grew up nearby on four acres of land, eating a diet of sheep's milk, soy and hazelnuts.  :)
