I’m afraid the comments about the service at this place are absolutely true. The food was good - very good in fact - but the waiter took far too long to come, and when he did, assured my friend with an allergy that one dish had no meat in it when it did, and said there was ‘pan con tomate’ before I was told by the other waitress (when I asked why it hadn’t arrived) that they don’t don’t actually do it. She then took my order for another type of bread they supposedly did do, that never arrived (along with some cheese some other friends had ordered); it was something approaching a farce. We waited about 10-15 minutes to pay as there was no one around to ask. I don’t understand how a restaurant can produce quality food like this, yet get such basic service so wrong - it’s genuinely puzzling.
