First of all, the service was great! I sat at the bar, the waiters were very friendly and professional. Bomba - Really yum. The fried skin was thin and crispy, lots of meat inside, aioli sauce and tomato sauce were great hit. Black Catalan Cuttlefish Fideuá - Delicious. The noddles was a bit salty, but adding aioli sauce could balance it. It was real squid ink and there were squid meat in the noodles too. If you are concerned about the 'stain' - it won't leave any mark on your teeth but some will stay on your tongue. Wine - I wanted to try red today so went with Rioja. With paella/fideua you can pair with either white or red. The first bottle was a bit dry, so the waiter switched to another lighter one for me (remember it was LAN reserva). Overall a wonderful dining experience! The place isn't quite spacious but has sufficient seating rooms. Intimate ambience. Highly recommend.
I loved this Tapeo! The restaurant was packed upon arrival, that combined with the smell and aroma reassured me we needed to get a table here. The restaurant is your typical small tapa but don't let that fool you the flavor coming out of this little place packs a mean punch that attacks your taste buds. We were lucky enough to grab some bar seats next to the kitchen as the tables were reserved. We had some house white wine, just like all the wine in Spain it was on point. No need to order from the fancy stuff. We looked at the menu and were attracted to the bluefin tuna belly, skirt of beef, grilled octopus, and the croquettes. The plates are as expected small tapa style played but holy cow this was delicious on par with some of the best meals I've had while visiting Spain. The Octopus was amazing, great consistency and flavor, not over chewy just right and the sauce made everything come together really well. The skirt steak was perfectly marinated and cooked medium with the right amount of chumichurri. The tuna belly was so delicious and the sesame seeds put everything together really well. The croquettas were so flaky and delicious, it felt like they melted in your mouth, amazing! Truly memorable meal!
Good food. Probably a little Americanized as far as tapas go. Was a bit like a fusion tapas. Definitely yummy though and the croquettes were fantastic. Really Nice wait staff even though it was crazy busy
