I came to Tappo on my birthday over the summer. First of all the atmosphere is so nice! The dining area and bar look upscale but also manage to be so cozy and welcoming. We sat in front of the garage doors during the summer which gives you the feel of outdoor dining. Since we came here to celebrate we were ordering food gradually for the table and the servers were so chill about it. They also allowed us to customize our Sangria as we asked. Speaking of the sangria, it was delicious and pretty strong!  The food here is very good! The pasta and cheeseboard were both very good and portions were generous. I've also come here for a work lunch and the whole table got the meatball bomber which is literally a meatball sub...with CHEESY BREAD as the bread!!!! Amazing!
We had such a great time! The drinks are very reasonably priced, and everything we tried was great. The calabrese flatbread, pork ragu, and peanut butter crunch were the standout favorites, but everyone left very happy. I'd definitely come back again!
My husband and I came to Tappo for an impromptu lunch today. We had been here for dinner a couple years ago, but hadn't been back since (it wasn't due to a bad experience or anything, just not at the forefront of our mind). After today's lunch this has definitely earned a permanent place on our favorite restaurants list. I'm sure dinner is wonderful, but lunch was truly outstanding. It's an abbreviated menu, and the prices are very affordable for what you get. The sandwiches aren't served with anything but honestly they don't need to be. My husband got the meatball bomber, and I ordered the eggplant parmesan sandwich. Best eggplant Parmesan I've ever had- hands down. We both ended up taking a half of each of our sandwiches home...and I'm very excited for my lunch tomorrow! Additionally my husband got a bowl of Minestrone, and I got a Caesar salad. Very generous portions, fresh, and packed with flavor. I also ordered a loganberry mule to drink and it may just possibly be one of my new favorite cocktails. Can't wait to come back!
