Overall I think it is disappointing. The food is ok/nice but so overpriced for what it is and in comparison to similar standard restaurants in Dublin. The decor and service is good. I won't be back, there's too many better options. Also it was only half full on Friday night so I suspect it won't continue in its current form anyway.
I have been going to Tate for a number of years and I never had less than excellent service and outstanding food. I truly appreciate their selection of wines and sake. I recommend their raw bar. it is always super fresh. They were always very accommodating and professional. Highly recommended.
I lived in Dublin for 2 years and there are a lot of good places to eat but Taste at Rustic will definitely stand out from the vast majority. This asian inspired sophisticated restaurant serves beautiful food that looks extremely fresh and tastes amazing. And the desserts were to die for. We had green tea creme brulee, chocolate mousse with jalapeno notes and a doughnut stick with this gooey caramel sauce - absolute perfection.
