I love Tavern because the food is consistently good. Best of all if I am in the mood for a beautifully prepared meal, created by the brilliant Suzanne Goin, I will be happy. Having said that, while I am happily dining on my meal, my husband may be eating short rib tacos with a side of onion rings and fries. That, to me, is the beauty and essence of Tavern. We can eat simply and/or elegantly and will always be satisfied.
