Both Ithaca Commons and Ten Forward Cafe are recommended for visiting. If you appreciate Vegetarian cuisine, complete your collection with this restaurant. I've tried about 10 different items on the menu, all very good. Friendly. Nice laid-back atmosphere.

I spent three days in Buffalo before driving through Ithaca, so I wanted to eat something healthy for a change. Ten Forward Cafe is the best vegan food I've ever eaten. I am not a vegan, but if I lived near this place, I would have no trouble becoming one. Their quesadilla was as good as just about any regular quesadilla I've had -- a wonderful texture to the "meat" and the "cheese" almost fooled me into thinking it was real. Also, the food portion was substantial enough to fill me up, which has rarely been the case with vegan restaurants that I've gone to before. Also, the people working there were very open and friendly and helpful. Additional bonus is that it's on the second floor of a bookstore with a record shop in the basement!
