Charming place and delicate food
Nice place, inside block, games for children, taste food !
This restaurant was my first taste of Russian cuisine and it couldn't have set a higher standard. I tried a starter, a main course, and a dessert and they were all excellent. For a starter, I had potato pancakes with salmon, cream cheese, and salmon caviar and it was exquisite. After finishing it, I contemplated ordering more of it. For a main, I ordered the stroganoff. It was also delicious. I'm used to eating stroganoff served on a bed of noodles but this was served with potatoes. They were out of mashed potatoes for the day but they have me roasted potatoes instead. The roasted potatoes were tasty but the stroganoff sauce was so good that I was craving the mashed potatoes since it would have sopped up the excess sauce much better. For dessert, I had a traditional Russian honey cake. It was good but nothing extraordinary. It had some small fruits in it, either very small cranberries or very sour raisins, that I didn't care for and didn't think it complemented the rest of the cake very well. Overall, it was a delicious meal and I'd like to go back again and try more of the menu.
