If you want to try Italian food, get your chance and come to this restaurant. It's a pleasant experience to eat perfectly cooked spaghetti carbonara and good pizza. The truth is that you will really like tasty che.
A lot of reviewers find that the staff is cheerful at this place. Testone Light provides meals at average prices. A number of visitors suppose that the ambiance is spectacular here. But many clients who use Google didn't give this place a high rating.

I was excited to try here as its near to my home so I stopped by after work as I love Carbonara & really fancied it with a nice glass of red wine after a long day. Entered & stopped at the till, the girl took my order & was very friendly & welcoming. I sat at a wooden table with some naked cushions which needed covers on them to be honest as they looked a bit old & dirty.Red wine served with some complimentary foccaia style bread which was a nice touch but the bread was doughy & flavourless :(Carbonara was served, a great size portion but unfortunately i had two mouthfulls and had to send it back. It had a really horrible taste, a bit like washing up liquid it was very odd I sat there chewing & chewing it with a face of disbelief & disgust. It had no egg, no cream it seemed, barely any sauce or parmesan, just very very lightly coated rock hard pasta. I know Italians cook their pasta al dente but this was very undercooked. The only good part was the bacon pieces, I tried a piece and this had flavour & cooked well.I spoke to the waitress & explained, she offered alternative pasta dishes which i didn't want as I had my heart set on carbonara its the only pasta dish I choose if eating out. I asked to be refunded for the dish & she said she would need to ask her boss. He was sitting nearby, she took the full dish over & asked him if she could refund which he refused & said "Its Italian style no egg". Ive eaten Carbonara on this island at many different Italian restaurants and never had a bad experience until tonight.She brought over the menu for me to choose something else and I reluctantly chose the Bufalina Pizza which I didnt really want and asked for Chilli Oil to be added. Two square pieces arrived & unfortunately these were very disappointing also. Again the foccacia style base but it was just chewy & had no flavour, the sauce was literally like a small spoon from a can of chopped tomatoes smeared on top, no flavour, no herbs, not a pizza base sauce......the Mozzerela was suprisingly bland, the basil was basil & it had no chilli oil. I had to ask again for the oil which i then covered the pizza in just to inject some flavour but the whole food experience was just very disappointing from start to finish. Thank god for the red wine! Such a shame as I hoped this would be my new local eaterie.
