The food was great first time there and its was a nice dinner however our waiter Jaun was not good. her served us warm water. We had to ask for ice water and had to ask 3 times. Took forever bringing bill. Other than that great place Food: 5 Service: 1 Atmosphere: 5

If I could give Texas de Brazil 0 stars, I would! My wife and I dined at Texas de Brazil - Addison for our 6th wedding anniversary dinner. It was absolutely ruined because of the way the Texas de Brazil manager Jessica treated us! Just reprehensible!! Before this visit, as a matter of record, Bianca, Jessica or Gabriel were strangers to us. Didn't know them at all. Here's why: Since Bianca, our server, couldn't run our coupon, it required Jessica, the manager on duty, to visit our table. Jessica offered no greeting, no how was your meal, no how's your evening instead judging by her attitude she was irritated to be in our presence as if we were beneath her because we're younger than her. Before I could even pull up my coupon on my iPhone, she said I hope you don't have a $20 off 2 dinners coupon because if you do you can't use it. With a smile, I said yes, that's right. Totally shocked, I asked why not? With a snarky tone she sharply stated you can't use it on Saturdays, you need to read the fine print. After pulling up coupon and without permission she reached over to my phone and proceeded to show me the fine print. I explained to her we came her for my birthday on 2/3/23 and loved our visit so we came back for our 6th wedding anniversary. I confirmed you are the manager, correct? Can you please as a courtesy just override coupon and help us out especially on such a special occasion? To further build my case, I added we just waited an hour and 15 minutes for a table for two and now you're going to not honor coupon because of fine print? I repeatedly stated that I genuinely had no idea there was fine print or a catch to the coupon because we are new to the restaurant and the app. If so, we would have gone somewhere else. She couldn't care less. Again, with snarky smug smile, she said no, you are not getting the discount while looking at my wife for support like Jessica is trying to get her to agree with her, which was weird. Before I could fully respond, she said you're only getting the dessert and walked away. We were stunned. I felt totally embarrassed in front of my wife and angry with how we were just treated over a simple coupon. Not to mention embarrassed because the neighboring tables had to have overheard this display of manager abuse. Bianca came back to our table & I told her what happened. She said she wasn't surprised because that is how she treats the employees including Bianca herself. It's as if Bianca was desensitized to it. Bianca said she's even reported Jessica for her abusive managerial style to no avail. Bianca said maybe it's because she from New York & that is normal to her. I assured Bianca I'm reporting Jessica on yours and every employee's behalf that has to put up with that. Bianca was delighted. Bianca said there is another manager named Gabriel, he's off but he still might be here. Let me see. After a minute or two, Gabriel came over and asked how he could help. I said Jessica was awful and said that she wouldn't honor the coupon. O showed him on my iPhone and he took a picture of it. Without hesitation, he said let me add $20 discount to your bill. I'll be back. While waiting just a few minutes, my wife said that's all Jessica had to do and I couldn't agree more. Gabriel came back with revised receipt and Bianca kindly took payment. She even took a couple of steps back while I pondered tip, which I thought was professional & courteous to take pressure off guilt tipping. That never happens. The embarrassing thing for Jessica is Gabriel is a lot newer on the job than Jessica and he handled it like a champ, which what Jessica should have done in the first place. Gabriel and Bianca deserve to be commended and rewarded for their superior customer service skills they displayed in this difficult situation!! Texas de Brazil should feel lucky to have people like Gabriel & Bianca working for them! Jessica deserves to be terminated immediately! Texas de Brazil should be utterly embarrassed they let such a wretch get past the interview process! I recommend Jessica's immediate termination because of how Jessica treated us and apparently how Jessica treats her employees with the same disregard. I am sure this isn't the first time she has treated a Texas de Brazil customer like this and it won't be her last if she remains employed here. After her termination, Jessica should go back to New York where she and her horrible customer service skills belong. To conclude, I have never been treated and dismissed with such disregard by any manager in my life. Even though Gabriel stepped up and did what Jessica should've done, I believe we deserve a full refund for what happened, which is the least y'all can do for how we were treated & embarrassed. After sending this review to Texas de Brazil Customer Relations department, I just a received a short email stating a corporate apology. No connection, no feeling, no refund, nothing! So, general public here you go! Fair warning about Jessica!
