We popped into this fantastic Thai restaurant next door to our motel, and it was easily one of the highlights of our evening! The service was exceptional, thanks to an incredible Thai girl who looked after us.. I only wish we got her name! We asked for a sweet drink recommendation, and she made us an amazing shot with Baileys and whipped cream that was absolutely delicious.She was so lovely to chat with. The food arrived so quickly and was great, and I was so excited to see Mango Sticky Rice on the menu. While the rice portion was a little on the smaller side, it came served with ice cream, so I am definitely not complaining.. it was the perfect sweet finish to a great meal. Most tender salmon we’ve EVER had!!! All the dishes were packed with flavor and cooked to perfection. We loved everything we ordered, extremely tasty. Big thank you to Thai Orchid Restaurant for also offering gluten free options and being open on Christmas Day. If we are ever back in Christchurch we will visit again!
