The staff were very friendly and helpful, the food is always good and the atmosphere is great. I edited my review because my last visit was excellent and I couldn't think why I had marked it down on food an atmosphere. Price per person: £10–20 Food: 5 Service: 5 Atmosphere: 5

Loved the setting but as it got busier the service deteriorated. The service charge far exceeded the service. We spent £80 and the service charge was £12.20. I’ve been for better bottomless brunches and not had to pay a service charge. I enjoyed the experience but will not return Price per person: £80–90 Food: 4 Service: 4 Atmosphere: 3

Am here at the alchemist newcastle.sunday 13 august.i've had the prawn lollipops quite a few times with a large pinot grigio.sat outside (i smoke) sat and sat.no staff coming outside.(even though more customers ourside than inside). A rare sunny day and the alchemist on the sunny side of the street ???? good food.friendly staff.just not enough staff ????staff member explained - just not busy enough usually foe table service on a sunday !!! Maybe that is the reason why !!
