The Anchor is famous for its great service and friendly staff, that is always ready to help you. A lot of people highlight that prices are reasonable for what you get. Since changing hand this place has change dramatically. The staff and the new landlady and her family are absolutely lovely. It just got a very welcoming feel to the place. They have Dj,s n the weekend, pool table ,darts and fruit machines too. It’s dog and family friendly,has a lovely pub garden area out the back too. Definitely a well deserved 5 Pub Service: 5 Atmosphere: 5

Sorry to say but the Anchor has closed. It's all boarded up .The Anchor has reopened
