We were in Tauranga for only 2 nights. We found The Barrio Brothers the first night, and we were so happy we did! The food was exceptional, the frozen apple margarita was amazing, and Anthony was such a wonderful host and manager that we came back the next night! The food was incredible again, and the frozen mango margarita made us wish we could stay a few more nights! We were in New Zealand for 4+ weeks, and this restaurant was my #1 favorite! Fabulous place to sit in the summer sun and have a sour salty sip with a chip n dip. Excellent car, and people watching in the hub of Mount main street. Inside is Mexican festive and cozy and smells delicious. Friendly staff that have their floor hustle on, are aware, and experienced. Timing for food and drinks is excellent, never waiting and never rushed. They even carry my favourite hot sauce. We come from Rotorua specifically to eat here. Excellent management and hiring creates this type of genuine, friendly, and attentive service. Absolutely amazing!!! The food was wonderful, my son was given a glass of apple juice without us even needing to ask! Prompt service and amazing drinks too!
