The Beehive used to be a Boston staple for me. I'm not sure it will remain on my list of favorite restaurants, though. It's still a cool jazz restaurant with great ambiance and music. The hostess didn't greet us or look as if they cared. Our waiter was wonderful- very attentive. The food fell really flat: autumn salad, duck meatballs, chocolate pot de creme, and decaf coffee. The short ribs with horseradish mashed potatoes we're actually quite delicious! They saved the day; that and the sweet jazzy melodies! Maybe go and just try their brunch?
Always a good time! Music is best when your friends are in the band:) jazzy bohemian vibe with some reggae on off days is a chill way to relax and get your brunch on or some din! And for those that drink this is the hub for the sloshed! I just watch them like free entertainment!
The beehive is a cozy place to go for brunch. I love going there in the winter or when it's rainy out. There's a jazz band that plays on the lower level and really sets the mood. In regards to the food I have to say one of the best eggs benedict I've had. The right amount of sauce, the eggs were dippy and the bread was so tasty! I highly recommend you try. They also have great cocktails to enjoy with your meal.
