Great beer selections.  Very low key and a great place to watch a game.  Food was good too

I just don't know about this place. You walk in and they present you with dirty drink and food menus. Nothing classy about that. The food menu is scatterbrained and nothing really stands out. They need someone to come in and redo the menus. Get rid of the giant paper and laminated garbage. Class it up a bit. The place isn't dirty but it's not exactly clean. Food isn't cheap. Portions are very small. There is nothing offered that is really good. Most of the food can be described as average to subpar at best. On the other hand, the beer selection is top notch and the employees are super friendly. There is ample parking in the back lot. Maybe have Bar Rescue come in and change things around a bit. Bring in a new chef to change the menu. You can cut out the crap items and focus on the good stuff.

I meant to review The Brass Tap a while ago but hadn't got around to it. When we lived in Orland Park we dined here occasionally from the time it opened. I remember my husband was not a big beer guy and initially when they opened they didn't have any cocktails. Now however they have some great cocktails to choose from. This particular visit my husband got some tacos and I went with a chicken caesar salad. Before the mains came out we got started with a nice pretzel dip app. I would honestly say the pretzels were quite amazing and maybe a repeat app when we return. Our server as I recall was very attentive and got us another drink when we were low. Our mains came out in a timely fashion and we weren't disappointed. My salad was great and my hubby's tacos were flavorful. I recommend if in the area.
