Advertised as New Years eve seafood buffet, Argentinian beef, music and lobster for $634 per couple.

Seafood buffet was frozen prawns, frozen bugs, frozen oysters..yes, seriously, they were still frozen rock solid in some cases and tastelessafter defrosted. The tiny buffet required large line up. Frozen oysters fall out of shell like goo when defrosted. People were shocked

14 Year Anniversary I'm kicking my self I didn't take pictures for proof. All seafood was definitely a few days old and should've been thrown out, at $89 ahead nothing was fresh got charged nearly $200 I was so disgusted. The prawns were very soft, I bit into a Asian style mussel and it was gooey inside, the Moreton bay bug was flavourless and watery like it was rewashed. I did not even dare to touch the oysters. The soup had a crusty feral looking layer on top 90% of the food was not appealing at all. Shame on you Brasserie on the river.

We had a lovely experience last night at three Stamford's The Brasserie On The River. The staff were amazing considering the restrictions still in place compared to a regular buffet experience. All you have to do is walk up to the food station of choice: Beautifully fresh seafood. Moreton bay bugs prawns and other local delights. Wonderful hot food options and roasted meats and pasta dishes along with fresh salads and of course a very well displayed dessert bar. The staff will collect a plate for you and fill it with your choice and then hand to you to go back to your table. It was a different experience being socially distant and not selecting your own food but still wonderful to be able to enjoy really well cooked and presented food in a beautiful location beside the Brisbane River. 10 out of 10. We will return.
