After a windy cold time on a riverside restaurant we wanted to redeem our brunch with a drink somewhere cosy to warm up …. The Britannia which was our favourite place to visit on/off during covid had great staff/food/ambience … but then life got back to norm & having headed there a few years ago to find it closed we forgot about it. However we’re so glad we remembered it today as they were so welcoming. Lovely ambience, superb staff & great wine list/cocktails…. We will definitely be returning very soon to sample food which smelt delicious. Service: 5 Atmosphere: 5

This is hands down one of the best experiences, and specifically, best Sunday roasts I’ve ever had. I have high standard of what I expect when going out to eat, and The Britannia exceeded all of them. James our server was absolutely brilliant. So attentive, friendly and accommodating and did everything to ensure we had the best time. We were a large group of 11 but we did not feel any impact of the staff or kitchen being overwhelmed in looking after us. The drinks were yummy and the food was delicious. We had the Sunday roast, the cod - which was amazing, and the ox cheek. The ambience was lovely - very intimate and cosy whilst feeling like an up market pub. Can’t wait to come back! Thank you for a wonderful evening. Food: 5 Service: 5 Atmosphere: 5 Price per person: £40–50

Had a wonderful evening at The Britannia in Richmond. The food was amazing and the atmosphere cosy and welcoming. The oysters and house wine were absolutely perfect! Service was impeccable — Oli, the manager, was so lovely and attentive, and Freya made my solo dining experience at the bar feel really special with her friendly company and conversation. Thank you for such a delightful evening — I’ll definitely be back! Price per person: £50–60 Food: 5 Service: 5 Atmosphere: 5
